We exist to glorify God through the advancement of His kingdom by means of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Practically lived out through evangelism of our community and discipleship of our members.
The Evangelical Church in North America is facing an ever increasing challenge as postmodern philosophy spreads throughout our culture.
Many have embraced this shift in thinking; calling the bible outdated and irrelevant. Some are even adopting a postmodern view of God in which He adapts to and embraces our sin.
In our time things have grown so extreme that even those who hold a high view of scripture’s authority struggle with questions about the purposes of God in creation, salvation and His wrath upon all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men.
Over the next several months we will focus our attention on God’s self-description given in the bible. Our aim will be two fold, first to abandon wrong ideas about God which tend to alter our perceptions of God’s purposes in reality. Second to embrace the truth of who God is, which will form the way we understand His purposes in all aspects of life.
